FAIRFAX, Va. 鈥� October 9, 2018听鈥撎�United States Transportation Command (USTRANSCOM)听Air Mobility Command (AMC)听has named听听the听prime awardee of a $51 million听contract听to develop and sustain听its听Global Air Transportation Execution System (GATES).听GATES听is an automated information听system designed to track, document, manage, and process payment for听the global air and surface movement of personnel and cargo across all branches of the听Department of Defense听(DoD).听
Awarded as a firm-fixed-price听(FFP), cost-plus contract, the听GATES project听has a five-year period of performance.听木瓜AV will be responsible for full life听cycle support, including new development, operations and maintenance,听and modernization.听As USTRANSCOM positions itself to operate within the cloud, 木瓜AV will provide wide-ranging strategic value, drawing on award-winning expertise in cloud migration and a history of supporting mission-critical projects.听The company will provide an agile software development team of about 75 personnel听to the USTRANSCOM headquarters at Scott Air Force Base in Illinois.鈥�听
